Catholic Church Confession App?

Confession App is no substitute to sacrament - Father Federico Lombardi
So, I heard this being talked about on one of the local talks shows on Monday.
WOW,  You can now log in to and confess your sins via this application.  Now for those that know me, you know I laughed so hard, well... I’ll leave it at that.  By no means am I taking jabs at the church. I am however poking fun at where we are with Technology and God in today's world.
I remember growing up, when I used to go to Sunday School either at the Baptist Church in AZ or Assemblies of God in NY, we would get in trouble for not bringing our Bibles to church. To borrow from George Lopez "Member....You Member".  (Remember, You remember, just in case some of you don't get that, LOL).
Anyway, now a days we have the Bible verses plastered on the Big Screens at, and when the Pastor says open your bibles..., maybe a handful of people even have one with them. Same in both Youth and Children's Ministry. They are highly encouraged to bring them, with a bribe of some sort, but if you don't, no biggie, we have it on the screen to follow along. It is almost as if we are teaching our kids and adults that God is easier to access through technology, rather than the good old fashion way, opening the Bible.
Virtual God. We have Bible Applications on our Smart Phones and on our computers. Access to the Bible is a lot easier, than carrying around a real one. Um, go figure?
Now, we can now use our Phones to talk to God! Imagine that. Think about it.........Phone..Talk.....God....... Wait for it........Wait for it............Wait for it................LOLOLOLOLOLOL
What would we do without our cell phones now? I wonder if God has Voicemail?
I have nothing against Technology, but when it comes to God, do you think it really is making it easier for people to "connect" with God, or is it making us even lazier than we were before?
I have my own thoughts but would like to hear from You.
Prayer:
Lord, we thank you for who you are in our lives. We Thank You for being able to talk to you whenever we want however we want. Lord I also lift up anyone having a bad week at work, school, home, etc.. You know their hurts. Touch them Lord. let them end the week with a big ‘ole kool-aide smile.  I pray for healing in relationships. I pray for financial relief for those in need.  In your Precious name! AMEN AMEN!
